Edson member on scene at a collision caused by a drunk driver who fled the scene
Edson Weekly Anchor posted the story along with his photo, and allowed for the member to post the words "Edson AB Community Watch" under the photo he took. While the member was taking photos of the scene, he witnessed another drunk driver who clipped a vehicle at the same location, the drunk driver also fled the scene. That's 2 drunk drivers in one night that fled the scene.... The incident was posted shortly after the scene was cleaned up to the Edson Community Group. This isn't a Success story but I wanted to share this to show that we do our best to only post incidents like these after the fact to the Community Groups, so that the law enforcements don't get swamped with people showing up at the scene to see what's going on. There wasn't any threat to anyone at the time so no need to post it to facebook until there done saving people. :-)
